The multifunctional design lets you wear the shell alone in the rain; add the zip-out jacket for cold, wet weather; or slip on just the liner when the skies clear. Designed for whatever comes your way, the Isthmus has a limber 100% recycled nylon shell with a PU coating and a DWR (durable water repellent) finish to block wind and shed moisture. An interior polyester taffeta lining (100% recycled) with a PFC-free DWR finish (durable water repellent coating that does not contain perfluorinated chemistry) wicks moisture, dries quickly and glides over layers. Shell details include a three-panel hood with adjustable drawcord for a precise fit; a full front zipper protected by an external storm flap (with snaps) and an internal wind flap; a zip-through, stand-up collar; snap cuffs and a microfleece-lined chin for all-day comfort. It has two side-entry zippered handwarmer pockets, two drop-in pockets with snap flaps and a zippered internal security pocket. The zip-out jacket attaches to the shell via the front zipper and snapped loops at the cuffs and neck. Soft, warm and exceedingly comfortable, the jacket features 100% recycled polyester high-pile fleece to trap heat, wick moisture and feel easy against the skin. Jacket features include a full front zipper with a fleece-lined collar; a diamond-quilted yoke made of smooth taffeta to block wind and moisture; two side-entry, fleece-lined handwarmer pockets and an interior chest security pocket with a zipper closure.
